2 weeks!

Today Ava is 2 weeks old! We had a doctor appt and we are up to 6lbs 14oz! The doctor said that everything looks good and we will have to come in when she is 3 weeks old to make sure she is still gaining weight. Due to the fact that Ava was a preemie we have to make sure that she keeps putting on enough weight and that she can maintain her temperature. So far so good.

Daddy's Girl

Early in the morning I ran around trying to get things ready when little Ava decided that she wanted to be held. I need to get things done so I brought her in by Tony to keep her busy since she didn't want to go back to bed. I then got things ready for the day and went to the bathroom to get her bath water ready. When I returned to get the princess I came across this beautiful site and had to capture this perfect moment! Ava loves to snuggle on your chest, daddy's chest is the best though!

On 10/14/08 Ava Nicole entered the world! She was 7lbs 1oz, and 20 inches long. Delivery was very fast and unexpected because she wasn't due to make her enterance into the family until November. Never the less our family has been head over heels in love with her! She is a very good baby only seems to cry when she wants something to eat. She loves to cuddle and she brings smiles to our whole family.
