7 months
wow how things have changed. Ava can do so much now. She rolls and is starting to pull herself up. The days of leaving her on the bed to walk away for a minute ate behind us. Hello to babygates, saftey nets and anything else fisher-price had invented to baby-proof our home. Ava is on a sippy cup more and more now and we are transitioning out of a bottle all together. This is so cool for Dad and I as we hopefully won't need to worry about an issues with getting rid of her bottle as Ava won't remember her bottle. She is still on 100% breastmilk. And because of this we have just started to put her onto foods on a regular basis. We have tried Gerber Organic veggies and I have been making organic baby puree myself too. This has been going well and Ava loves them. No teeth yet, but that doesn't slow us down. Ava acts like anything that you have she should have too. Soon I will have to give in to her grabbing at my dinner but for no we are sticking to liquids since gumming everything won't work for all foods. Ava is getting baptised on June 14th at Divine Redeemer Luthern Church. We are very excited for this as we have always thought of Ava as a gift from God. Now we are going to ask for our Church to help us guide her on her walk with the Lord. June 14 will be almost as special as the day she was born!
